Shelli is the best!!

Karen's been doing my hair for the last 18 years. Even after I moved to Santa Clara, I still drive up, because she does such an excellent job of coloring my hair that no one suspects that it's dyed and has lots of grey! Her hair cuts are also great. I'm one of those clients who impulsively pulls out the shears and cuts away. Karen just smiles (ok, sometimes she laughs, like the time I didn't notice I'd grabbed the scissors instead of the thinning shears!) and fixes it for me. She puts a lot of time and effort into ensuring her salon has a pleasant, warm ambiance, qualified staff and well run scheduling system. I would highly recommend Karen and her salon to anyone.

The Plum Studios Salon is really up beat, friendly, yet is not stuffy. The decor is pleasant and relaxing. Everyone seems to be there to help you, the customer. I love Roxy's hair styling abilities. She does a wonderful job with both cutting and highlighting my hair. She is exceptionally friendly and helpful. I have always look forward to my day "at the salon!"

Well I decided to go in for a haircut after cutting my own hair for the last few years using electric clippers. My hair was on the long side. Generally I shy away from wearing my hair long because it just doesn't look right. This is the first time I've had scissors exclusively used on my hair! I was surprised by the results. I guess my hair can look good at longer lengths =)

I highly recommend this adorable salon, in Burlingame. The neighborhood is bright and sunny. My hairstylist, Karen was extremely helpful and discussed what would work best for my hair and face shape. She even gave me a complimentary highlight, that I absolutely just love.



I, also, got manicure/pedicure from Kim upstairs. She is the sweetest lady and really took the time and did a thorough job. Best pedicure I've ever had. I definitely will come back again and again.

then Plum Studios is for you. I go to Yoriko and constantly have people stop and ask me who does my hair. I almost don't want to tell people because I want to keep it secret. It's a great atmosphere - not stuffy and snobby, but still classy and elegant.

while looking up plum's phone number, i realized plum studios didn't have many reviews.

i found the salon by searching for salons on yelp.com. 5 stars multiple reviews there.

the salon is up beat, beautiful and professional. a great experience.

Yoriko, Shegio and Patti moved to plum studios after working together for more then 15-20 years.

i went to patti years back and didn't know they had moved to plum when i had booked my original appointment.

I visit Plum Studios Salon and have Karen Frances style my hair.



The decor is very modern; faux finished walls in plum colors with plenty of wood create a relaxing atmosphere. I like that it doesn't seem like a walk-in clinic. The vibe there is good.



When I first saw her I wasn't exactly sure what I was looking for, but Karen was happy to make some suggestions that she felt would be good for my face. She did a great job on my hair and it continues to look great.



As styles and seasons change, she makes suggestions to update it. I highly recommend her and her salon.
