Great place to get a down home family meal. Food was great. Staff was great. Only concern is the decor. Could use a little touch-up, but overall a good place to eat.

We were recenty taken to Burkey's Restaurant by Friends.We dont even know it was there and we have lived in Trotwood for 13 yrs. The decor is old,but we dont eat decor. The food was great,service outstanding, Its not fancy.Its not Applebys nor would I want it to be or expected to be.All we wanted was a great down home cooked meal at a great price and thats exactly what is got. We were pleased and will return and also tell others about this place.

We come 40 miles every week for good home cooking food , like grandma used to make,the staff always makes you feel at home. the chelf comes out and vists the tables and makes you feel very welcome. hes a very nice fellow. we are lucky get the same waiter everytime (Josh) better than any waiter we have ever had . do yourself a favor visit this wonderful diner. you will bring your friend and family family back . its family owned ran grandpas the chelf.. cant beat that got to love it ...
