Reviews below seem inflated and near duplicates (same date and user name). Dishonest shop--won a small claims suit against Southern Speed and business refused to pay. Shop provided a build sheet for engine rebuild and when the engine failed and was torn back down, we found that none of the "performance" parts on the build sheet were in the engine. Not recommended.

Very profesional family repair shop. I will continue to do buisness with them and will send all my family and friends. I have a 69 Camaro SS drag car an Southern Speed did the whole build. Worked with me on financing too. Excellant work an showed me the whole process. Never been happier. They also do repairs to all my family members cars too. I have been to other Motor Sports buisness in town just to be jerked around and over charged. Southern Speed is the BEST shop for Expert repairs and reasonable prices.

Great Shop. I will continue to do buiness with Southern Speed. I've always have my car and children's cars repaired there. They are great people to work with, very proffesional and curteous. No hidden cost like some other shops in the area.

I had a wonderful experience with Southern Speed Racing. I had my performance car at everbody else's shop in town including, Raleigh an Willmington. No one could figure out my performance issue, but the owner Jerry, Master Technician, new right away what the issue was. The problem was fixed in no time, at a resonable price, and I was back on the road again. I would never take my family car or my HOT ROD to anyone else then Southern Speed Racing.
