General Info

Carson Veterinary Clinic was established in 1982 by Dr. James R Carson III. Originally Dr. Carson had a mixed animal practice and saw everything from cats to cows! As Lafayette began to grow, horses and cows became scarce and Dr. Carson transitioned to strictly small animal medicine. It has grown from a two room portable building, into over a 5,000 square foot hospital by sticking to our core values of loyalty, trust, compassion, communication and honesty. From the beginning, it has, and always will be, about the people and pets of Lafayette and surrounding areas.
