am a professional real estate agent and also an investor. I rarely never leave reviews or complain about anything. Now I am furious. Paradise Title Company has taken advantage of me. I have never seen this within 10 years of being in the industry of what they have done to me. Being a real estate investor. I was able to find a supposedly Seller that wanted to sell their home. I agreed to buy the house. We use your standard residential family contract submitted it to paradise title company. After a few days they sent over title policy and said they were ready to close. Just like I normally do with the other hundred transactions. I show up with my cashiers check to close. We successfully close on the home just like normal. should be the end of story right. WRONG After closing my partner and I go down to the house and are getting it ready. I put a sign out in the front yard, A day later.I get a call from someone that says they are the seller and reporting me to the police. I immediately called Paradise title company since they close the deal. I had all the proper closing paperwork. They said they are going to look into it. They call me back a day later. And say the deed that they received was a fraudulent deed! They say everything's gonna be all right and instead of going after the title insurance they say the person to notarize the deed will refund the money. They have already put a request in. So we waited, after three weeks go by nothing. Finally my partner and I tell them. They can collect the money from the notary. I demand to get my money back from them through the title insurance. we receive an email. They say now that they were tipped off that the deal was fraudulent they did not issue title insurance but we will be happy to give me back the money I already paid for title insurance!! Oh my God I cannot believe they told me this!!! this is not how you do business.

On top of the double fees Paradise Settlement Services will stick you for be prepared for poor and incompetent service. After that be prepared for them to take your money for title insurance, not provide the insurance, run, lie and hide when you try to collect on it. In my 30 years in the real estate business as an investor and a broker I have never seen a more unethical, incompetent title company. If you close your real estate transaction at this company you may have to pay the price. My price was $20,000 - You Have Been Warned!

rip off artist dont trust them. tried to screw my mother out of her home and estate on a reverse mortgage.
