I am 68 yrs old & until 2 years ago had only ever had a couple of professional manis or pedis.....and in cities other states than Idaho....have had quite a few lengthy hospital stays where I sadly picked up Athlete's Foot (& nail fungal infections!) so I have been VERY HESITANT to use any nail salons for fear of spreading whatever form of fungal infection I have never been able to eradicate....OR for picking up some new infections!! But one afternoon, I was right outside the door to this AWESOME salon & decided to go in & talk to the owner. I had the pleasure of meeting Mike, the owner, who assured me that they were very cautious about cleaning their equipment & instruments.....my toenails at that time were a mess & being an achy old woman in my 60's, l decided "Oh what the heck why don't I give this a shot!!?" So I did....I needed both a pedi AND a mani & Mike and a lovely young lady worked as a team to get me in & out quickly! I tried the amazing gel polish for the first time....that stuff is REMARKABLE!!! Then when I cracked a thumb nail down to WAY below the quick, my hubby & I super-glued it several times to keep it on & in tact....till I got into see Mike who assured me he could fix it.....He chuckled when he saw the gobs of dried up super glue on & around that tear & went to work on it immediately!! He made it super strong & looking nice while it grew back out! Dr. Mike, I called him!! Nail doc to my bad nails ~ always making them look (& me FEEL) pretty again!! ;) Give this salon a try....you have my heartiest RECOMMENDATION!!! (& this is a good reminder that it's time for me to get back in there & have a visit with Mike and his lovely staff again!! THANKS MIKE!!!

I have never really felt I needed to use a nail salon.....always did my own nails & used to have nice, strong healthy nails in my youth....but now that I'm a SENIOR, it's not so easy to do my own (pedicures ESPECIALLY!!) So, while exiting the Fred Meyer's store near the salon's entrance, I decided to pop in that day & ask some questions. As it turned out, the owner, Mike spoke with me & answered all my questions very personably & to my liking....(I have issues with nail fungus & he reassured me that they treat those issues with good products & great concern! That was MONTHS ago & I am a BIG FAN, Mike repaired my torn halfway across to way below the quick thumb nail Friday evening to stronger than before!! & did the rest of my finger nails to perfection! I will be going to him as long as I can afford to treat myself to a truly *PROFESSIONAL* mani & pedi!! I 100% RECOMMEND this salon & specifically MIKE (the owner) for your nail health & beauty needs.....if you go ~ tell them ALEXIS sent you! :)
