I know nothing about coins but I inherited a substantial amount from my father. I took them to 2 shops before going to see Mike at Crystal Coin. He was super friendly and took a lot of time to explain values and what makes some worth more than others. I ended up selling almost all of them except I wanted to give my grandson a few to keep. Mike helped me pick some out for him including one that he had already offered me a goodly amount for. He told me it would be a great coin to leave to my grandson. Friendly and honest to boot! You can't beat that in a coin dealer. I don't know, but the previous reviewer must have caught him at a bad time. I found him nothing but knowledgeable, friendly and honest and I thought I got a good price for the coins compared to what I had been offered elsewhere.

You walk into a small, dark and very busy shop. A nice guy meets you and gives a chance with your coins. Offered more than the first guy but nothing close to what an independent internet sight offered for the same coins. Being he was nice I said I had other coins I would like him to look at and be back in about an hour. Came back with a mix of different coins and it was like night and day. Apparently I interrupted him working on a pen. Short rude and even with my best coin he just threw it into the box and said it might be worth something. I was completely surprised and it was the same guy.No second chances here.SS411

I went to see Mike about some coins and found him extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend dealing with him ! Very honest . Nice store.
