Provided by YPmobileI will never use this dentist again-It had been two years since I had been to a dentist, and they took only
8 minutes to clean my teeth. The hygienist then proceeded to give me a diagnosis which did not compare to anything I had ever been told before, by previous dentists. It was suggested I see an Orthodontist to have costly work done.. The doctor came in, less than 5 minutes, and agreed with the hygienist.
After seeing another dentist soon after for a second opinion, I wasn't surprised to hear that in fact, I do not need any work done.

Provided by YP.comRemember there are also two sides to a story. Most of the time, people will only share their side of the story. I am certain that if a patient was unhappy with the service provided, management would take responsibility for the situation and try to do whatever in their means to rectify the situation. As far as my experience with this office, I have nothing but positive feedback to share about Nashboro Village Family Dental. Please pay close attention to the word "family." Dr. Hill is experienced at what he does and his office staff treat their patients with the utmost respect and professionalism. The dental care that they provide would be on the same level of care as they would provide for their own family members. You cannot find a dentist who is more compassionate or passionate about the well-being of his patient's. He has excellent chair-side manners and devotes the utmost attention to his patients. Sharon, the office manager, is a also a very caring and down-to-earth individual who not only cares about her patient's dental health but also their and their family member's overall health and well-being. The staff are very courteous, professional and friendly. Most recently when I had to have a root canal performed, Dr. Hill along with his assistant Lashonda made me feel very relaxed during the entire procedure...checking on me constantly to make certain that I was not uncomfortable. Dr. Hill and his assistant also answered any questions that I had and took the time to explain things in layman terms. Let me also add that when I called the office with complaints of pain and discomfort, they got me in to see Dr. Hill in a timely manner. Additionally, Dr. Hill and his staff regularly attend educational seminars to stay abreast of any changes concerning the dental practice and they also use state-of-the art equipment. I would highly recommend this office to anyone that is seeking qualified and compassionate dental services for their entire family.

Provided by YP.comI would like to thank Nashboro Village Family Dental for the superb job on my teeth. They made me feel as if they known me for years even though this was my first visit. The staff took very good care me and was very compassionate about my fear of the Dentist. DR. Hill is a Great Guy, his way of calming me down by talking about music was great. Thank Dr. Hill.
I highly recommend this Dentistry....THANKS AGAIN.

Provided by YPmobileI have been afraid of the dentist since I was a little girl due to a bad experience. I went to Nashboro Village upon the advice of a friend who's been going there for years. She assured me that they would ease my nervousness and they did. The staff was very friendly and once I explained my phobia, took their time with me.

Provided by YP.comBe very, very careful and on guard when visiting Nashboro Family Dental.
I have lived in four states over the past 10 years and make it a habit to go to the dentist for a checkup/cleaning twice a year. I've never had any problems with my teeth — no braces, no cavities, nothing. I moved to Nashville one year ago and went to Nashboro Family Dental. I went in for my second visit to get a cleaning three weeks ago. I never complained about any pain. I never complained about any other problems, yet they told me I need Invisalign braces — and it just so happens that they do the Invisalign procedure at their own financial benefit. They never asked me if I wanted the braces, nor did they give me the time necessary to decide if I wanted this EXPENSIVE procedure done. It was more a matter of them marching me straight into their office manager's office and asking me "OK, when do you want to have this done, and how are you going to finance the cost ($4,000)?"
I've never had serious health problems before, so I am unaccustomed to being skeptical about these things or the need to seek out a second opinion. Before I knew it, they shoved forms in my face and asked me to sign paperwork for the procedure and then they marched me into a room to get fitted. Granted, I could have stopped the whole thing, but I was not very alert that day and I was a little too trusting.
I told friends and family about what happened, and they insisted I get a second opinion — I first went to an orthodontist who maintained I DON'T need Invisalign. I called Nashboro Family Dental to cancel, and they said that if I wanted a second opinion that I should only see another dentist who does Invisalign (HARDLY AN OBJECTIVE PERSON TO GO TO). I instead went to see a dentist who does not do Invisalign — and he also told me I don't need braces in any shape, matter, or form. So I had two professional opinions to rebut Nashboro Family Dental.
I next called the finance company (to whom I would pay my monthly installments) and found out that Nashboro Village had already charged nearly $4,000 to my account — without doing any work whatsoever — and they did it immediately after my visit (they were hardly as prompt when I cancelled the appointment — they took a long time to return that money to the finance company).
I demanded that they rectify the situation, and they did — but I have a serious problem with them rushing me into this decision without giving me time to think about it. I also did a lot of online research about Invisalign. Most of the online reviews I read were from people who had them, and those reviews were extremely negative. People said dentists' offices that did the procedure were pressuring their clients into this, even when it wasn't needed. I even read reviews from people who said the procedure made their teeth worse and they wanted to start a class action lawsuit against the makers of Invisalign and the dentists that pressured them into the procedure.
If they hadn't rushed me into a decision then I might actually have considered going back (because it is close to where I live). But they have lost my business for good!
Also, it is my understanding that dentists become certified to do Invisalign after attending what is only a two-day training seminar. That says A LOT.
