Went there for the buffet. Paid, went through the buffet and sat down at my table. After a few bites, my daughter noticed a large bug in my water. It was toward the top 1/4 of the glass. I swirled the glass around and it started moving and trying to crawl out. Now I know that there are some things that you can"t prevent in restaurants, but it appeared to be a small cockroach.



I called a female server aside, who in turned called over a male who was running the register. I pointed out the bug, and quietly told him that I was no longer hungry. I had barely eaten even 1/4 of my lunch, nor had my 2 teenager daughters. After some discussion, he said that he would give me a refund, but not my daughters. Now we had barely eaten our food, and frankly just wanted to quietly leave. My daughters had just taken a sip from their glasses and were grossed out.



The gentleman refused to refund any money because my daughters had eaten a small portion of food.He told us to leave the table and he would discuss it with us. A regular customer came up to the register as we were having a discussion and took the owners side. He said that he was in the Air Force and had worked for the government in security. He then told us that we had to have put the bug in the water in order to get a free lunch! The whole thing was surreal. We paid over twenty dollars for a lunch we barely touched, had what appeared to be a cockroach crawling out of our glass, no refund, and a lunatic regular customer. DO NOT go there. I wish I had another suggestion for a Chinese restaurant in New Albany, IN, but I don't.

This place is awesome. You gotta try it out, and when ya do you will want to keep coming back for more and more.

This is my husband's and my favorite place!! Very good food, and a value too!! I have never been disappointed. I take that back, only when they do not have green beans on the buffet, because they are the item I love.
