Great service, great listener.

I'm from Seattle. I had an issue with my car, looked up local auto shops, called into Ed's in the afternoon, and spoke directly with him on the phone. Ed squeezed me in the next morning and quickly had the repair done. Quick service. Great listener. I would definitely recommend him.

Honest Human Beings

We have been taking our vehicles here for years. They always go the extra mile to make sure we get the best outcomes. They have literally treated us like family and never try to sell you on stuff you don't need. I couldn't recommend them more highly. I will never go anywhere else.

Print and friendly service

I have been coming to Ed's ever since I moved to Utah 3 years ago. They are always friendly and willing to explain any issues or policies to you. They are clearly knowledgeable and professional mechanics and every time I need something for my car, whether it's emissions, an oil change, or something more serious, I bring it to them. They really look out for your car and I have never paid a dime more than was necessary for parts and labor. I would recommend them to anyone!

These Guys Are My Heroes

I've taken my car to Ed several times. Each time he and his team have gone above and beyond to fix my car in a timely fashion and save me a ton of money. Honest, reliable, and fantastic to work with.

I have a 1997 Ford Expedition that my family calls "The Beast". I had to have it fixed because the check engine light that turned on and off at times finally turned on and stayed on. My registration is due so I had to get it fixed. Also The Beast lately seemed to have much less power than before and the steering shook badly when braking. Ed's Automotive fixed the check engine light by diagnosing which of the many oxygen sensors was bad and replacing it and while checking out my front brakes they found some bar that needed to be tightened. (That loose bar must have been loose for years and years! Dang!) The car now has lots of pep. The gas mileage has improved dramatically which I think goes along with it having more power. The shaking during braking is reduced 90%. They didn't even charge me to find and tighten the loose bar. I wish I would have had it fixed a long time ago.

I went there because a friend told me that it is where he goes. I am so glad that I went there.

Well, that is my story. To make it a bit more interesting I thought I'd share that I made my petite little girl drive that BEAST around for the first 2 years that she got her license. If she got in an accident I figured she would fare better than if she were in a Miata. Also, I didn't want my nice cars smashed. Well, she was never in an accident but at least I slept well at night knowing I was protecting my baby girl as much as I could.

Consistently Awesome

I've gone to these guys multiple times, and they have done stellar work every time. They're friendly and great with the whole customer service thing, and they make it affordable. The price is definitely worth the quality. The only complaint I have is that their parking lot is so dang crowded. Sometimes it's almost impossible to find a place to park.

Ed's is the best!

They are very honest and patient. They had the opportunity to be dishonest but didn't take it. I bought a used car and it wouldn't start after I had it for a couple days. Brought to them and turned out that the only thing wrong was that I was using the valet key and not the real key. They could have made something up but didn't. They also took an hour of their time to explain timing belts to me free of charge. Great guys!

Great, Honest Service

I recommend Ed's Automotive to everyone I talk to that has any repair or maintenance needs for their vehicles. I was lucky enough to be nearby them when I had an issue with one of my car's because they treated me with respect and gave me an honest diagnosis with very fair pricing. They don't try to hide additional costs and are always straight forward with you. Since that first time I have been taking my vehicles there for all my needs; safety inspection and emissions, oil changes, etc.

Awesome, Honest Service

We have been going to Ed's Automotive Repair formally Cleggs Automotive and Machine for about 6 years now for all our car repair needs. They were honest and in it for the return business from the start. They have always treated us like we come first and helped us figure out what option fit us and our budget best. I have had dealings with less than honest mechanics and know what good service is. Their work is always really good. I highly recommend their shop for anyone looking for a really good, honest mechanic.
