They’re not conscientious about cleanliness at the deli. Arrive first thing in the morning to ensure your meat is sliced on a clean meat slicer that isn’t riddled with debris from other meats. I always have to ask them to clean off the slicing machine & area where the meat is collected. They leave the back door open allowing flies to land on the meat being weighed in the warmer months. The scale itself always has remnants from whatever was last weighed, they don’t bother to wipe that down either. If you can’t find items on your list, don’t count on anyone being available to assist. Don’t count on management knowing where the items are either; they are either MIA or clueless. Then there is the bi-polar cashier who is either very pleasant & friendly, or she’s scowling & throwing you canned & frozen items to the end of the lane. I avoid her at all costs. I have spent in excess of $300 a month for YEARS at this Albertson’s but I will stick with Fry’s & Basha’s from now on.
