The Business: We are a small family-run corporation. We started the business to keep our family together. Success Marina in Porterville, California was the first marina business the Brockman family owned. Success Marina ran "successfully" for almost 30 years. However, in 2004, an Army Corps dam project kept Success Lake at minimum pool, not enough to keep their newly hired sons working. Lakeridge Marina on Pine Flat Lake, California came up for sale and the Brockmans bought it in 2005. Lakeridge Marina was renamed Pine Flat Lake Marina. The business now employees our three families and several additional dock workers and mechanics. So in this instance, the family business has prevailed. We are blessed to work on the water with our family, promoting boating, and recreational water sports. We take great delight in providing you the opportunity to enjoy the lake with your friends and family. By offering you various ways to enjoy recreation at Pine Flat Lake we hope to make you a lifelong boater.
