      A 204-bed acute care hospital, Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center serves the Berks region with outpatient and inpatient diagnostic, medical and surgical services on its Bern Township, Pa., and downtown Reading campuses. Founded in 1873 by the Sisters of St. Francis, St. Joseph Medical Center has earned national accreditations for its centers of excellence in the treatment of chest pain, stroke, heart failure and cancer.

      The best decision I ever made in the care of my mental health.

      Very knowledgeable, caring, sincere people. They were able to help me with my illness, more than I felt anyone could. Program is well organized. Would recommend to anyone who is in need of this kind of service. Thank you so very much!
