Provided by YP.comSacramento Pet Cemetery exploits your tragedy to overcharge and try to sell you shoddy merchandise at every opportunity. They charged us nearly double what other crematories asked for the same services, but my family members were duped. Tammy has no compassion and she is all about squeezing every last dime from you she can. One of the most disgusting businesses I have ever encountered, theyll do anything for a quick buck.

Provided by YP.comA week ago my 12 year old Irish Setter had a heart attack while running in the field. I was devastated and had to carry her home. After calling Sacramento Pet Cemetery (SPC) and talking to the lady at SPC, I told her Bella’s age and weight (55#). She said 65#? and I said, “no, 55#”. She said she had to come this way in the early evening and could pick Bella up which I thought was nice of her. I told her I wanted to let my daughter know that Bella had died before finalizing arrangements and would call her back. I told her my name and that I was the one with the Setter so she would recognize me. I called her back, was quoted $90.00 for the cremation. She showed up that evening but parked across the street from my house. I went and told her she could park closer and she said "no problem, the dog only weighs 5#!!!!!" I said “No, 55#, she’s an IRISH SETTER!!” That led to an argument with her telling me I gave the wrong information and it would be more than double the cost and she had the information on a card. She refused to honor the quote she gave me and I told her to leave. Even if she wrote it down wrong, who doesn’t know that 12 year old Setters DO NOT WEIGH 5#??? It was the most horrible customer service experience ever, on top of losing a beloved pet. Avoid Sacramento Pet Cemetery, horrible people.
On 3/4/11 my best friend and constant shadow for 12 year Izzabelle passed on. She was the best dog in the world! The women who helped us (whose name I can't recall) treated us as if we were part of her family. She treated Izzy's body with respect and kindness. The following day we met with Ray to pick up her ashes and again were treated with incredible respect. Although I hope I never need to use their services again I will do so without a second thought.
On October 18, 2010, I lost my 21 year old friend, my little black cat, Shadow. Sacramento Pet Cemetery was wonderful, helpful; and most of all caring and sympathetic. I miss my little girl, and always will. I will also recall the kindness and understanding I received from this facility. The care and support was wonderful and really made this segment of the unfortunate incident a lot easier for my heart. Thank you to Tammy and staff! Signed: "Me and My Shadow" P.S. I Love and Miss you My Little Shadow Girl
After our pet cat of 11 years passed away suddenly in the night and at home, we scrambled to find a resource to make proper arrangements for our friend. We met with the staff of the Sacramento Pet cemetery first thing the following morning. We were relieved to find that they take walk-in's. They charged us $150 for the cremation and they did not try to sell us unnecessary services or containers. They were professional and kind. We picked up the remains 6 days later. We are very pleased with the service we received from the Sacramento Pet Cemetary.
