- General Info
- At Engel Bail Bonds Sanford, Seminole County Florida, we will always try our hardest to have the process of having a friend or loved one released from jail as quick and as simple as possible. First is to call us or come into our office. We will let you know the Bail Bond amount, the charges and your options. When the persons booking process is complete, Engel Bail Bonds in Seminole County will immediately go over to jail and post bond, This starts the release process that can take from one to several hours.A brief descripton of how the Bail Bond and arrest process works: Setting Bail: When someone is arrested, most all charges carry a preset bail amount and can bond out once ther booking process is complete. If they are charged with certain crimes, ex: domestic violence, they will have to see a judge the following day. The judge will decide whether or not to assign bail, particularly if the individual has not shown up for court appearances in the past, poses a flight risk, or has committed a more serious crime. If the judge does assign bail – it means that the individual can be released from custody until their court date - after they pay an amount set by the judge. The judge will set the amount based on the crime, how likely the individual is to flee, and whether the individual is a repeat offender. Please call us with any questions on the Bail Bond process, Thank You. Our Bail Bondsman are standing by. Please call us anytime.407-339-0688
