This is a fantastic family run eye care facility. Dr. Jeanine Prevost was amazing. She is thourough and has such a wonderful personality. I enjoyed my visit with her. Everyone who works here is part of her family, so you really get to know the family where your money goes to as opposed to a large place like south coast health care centers. So if your the kind of person who wants real quality care by a doctor who puts her patients first while supporting a local business the this place is for you.

Most thorough eye exam I ever had!

I had to wait over 20 minutes for my scheduled routine eye exam appointment. Somerset Eye Care is slow and over priced. The routine eye exam was $160. On top of that the contact fitting cost was $200. After receiving a bill like this I have called other optometrist in the area to get their pricing. I have found that most other places charge a total of $150 for the routine eye exam and contact fitting. I feel ripped off that I paid $360 instead of the standard $150 (this does not include my overpriced contacts that I ordered through them). Please learn from my mistake and do your homework before going here.
