I just want to THANK YOU (a little late)...Back in October of 2008, I was driving from Alaska to Boston with my beautiful dog, Angel. As I was going thru the Cascade Mountains my engine light came on and I was petrified as there was no cell service in the mountains and in the middle of a beautiful somewhere. A nice couple followed me to Twisp, WA (about 30 miles away) where I had my truck looked at. It was the weekend and I believe I had to wait til the next day (camp in my truck) to have my truck looked at. I was told the transmission needed some work and it would cost about 2 grand plus. I was then told it would take about 4 days to get the parts. I had to motor, as I had to beat the weather and I was a female traveling alone with her dog. The mechanic in Twisp, WA suggested I drive to Spokane, about 150 miles away and recommended I go to a shop where a friend of his worked. I decided to drive there quite nervously. Instead, I pulled into your place and you read the codes, which you DID NOT CHARGE me for. You told me my truck would make it to the east coast no problem. I just want to THANK YOU for your assistance to a female who was almost taken advantage of. I have thought of that from time to time and how I will NEVER forget that!!! I just THANK YOU AGAIN!!! Some people take advantage of a situation and others do the RIGHT THING!!!!!!!.ALL I CAN REALLY SAY IS GOD BLESS YOU!!!You do not know what that meant to me. It has been 6.5 years and I just came across a little reminder note as I just always meant to THANK YOU!!!I could send cookies or I wish I could send you $, but I feel what is greatest is GOD's blessings to you!!! He knows what you did :-)THANK YOU!!!Leslie
All right so as for the last review from that ignorant person you don't need a flush machine to change your trans fluid how the heck do you think they use to do it back in the day when rigs were built right gee by draining and filling. I will be going to this shop to get the trans in my 03 Chevy rebuilt they have some of the most competitive prices that I have found. And yes i will be updating this review after the service is done. Like I said I was referred by motor works witch is a great shop
BOBS DID A VERY EFFICIENT JOB IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR A GREAT PRICE!!! HIGHLY RECOMEND THESE GUYS :)
this place is a joke. I called to have my transmission flushed they said no problem. i canceled my other appointments and when i got there they didnt even have a machine to do the flush.the worker says well we can drain it ans fill it back up for you. this is not a flush and if i wanted to drain the tranny and fill it back up i could have let my 7 year old son do that..very untrained staff and get you to come to their shop and once there you find out they dont have proper equipment to do most jobs....what TRANSMISSION SERVICE SHOP does,t have a flushing machine?
