The Barking Lot is simply AMAZING! No words can express how thankful I am to have a place I can leave my pups and know that they are in good hands. Melissa and staff are amazing and truly understand dogs of all breeds, temperaments, and personalities. One of my dogs has separation anxiety and the other is a timid rescue. The Barking Lot has done wonders for both separation anxiety and socialization. I always had such anxiety leaving my dogs with other boarding facilities, but now I can go on vacation with absolutely no hesitation because I know my dogs are being loved and cared for as they would be at home. Both pups get excited to go to daycare at The Barking Lot! In addition to the daycare and boarding facilities, the groomers are wonderful. They are incredibly gentle, loving, and do an awesome job at nail trimming! The Barking Lot goes above and beyond, I would never trust my dogs with anyone else! And the facilities are immaculate, always incredibly clean! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
I recommend The Barking Lot to everyone I know. My little guy is so nervous and always gets sick when he boards. The staff at The Barking Lot was great, they kept in contact with me while I was away and kept me up to date with what they were doing to help with his nervous needs. He was super happy when I picked him up and he did not get sick when we got home. FIRST TIME EVER! STRONGLY RECOMMEND!!
The groomers and staff are great at The Barking Lot! I took my goldendoodle there after several other experiences at other grooming shop where they just shaved him down. My groomer Lyndi, worked with me on haircut options that would work for Rudy's hair as well as showed me how to brush and comb him in between grooming appointments. It is so nice to go to place that commutates with you. I have also used their boarding services once and had a great experience as well. All around a great place that really cares.
I have boarded my dog with The Barking Lot numerous times and am very pleased with the care he receives! Would highly recommend to other pet owners!
I have never had such great service from a boarding/grooming place! The Barking Lot is way more personal than any other grooming chain and the kennel is cozy and inviting. I have two dogs and I take them to The Barking Lot for all of their needs (well besides the vet). I have brought my dogs to all the groomers there and they are all very skilled and treat all the dogs like they are their own. I have also brought them to their kennel and I LOVE it! My dogs want to go there even when I am home =) I am beginning to think they love the staff at The Barking Lot more than me...I am a little jealous, but know if is for good reason. The staff at the front desk always knows my dogs by name and I can't tell you how great that makes me feel. I recommend this place to strangers at the dog park! I just can't get enough of this place. It makes me so happy and comfortable leaving my babies in their hands.
We had our dogchild stay with the Barking Lot over the Xmas Holiday and are extremely pleased with our experience. She stayed in one of the "VIP" rooms and was very well taken care of, and seemed very stress free when we picked her up (After they closed, which they were willing to accomodate us! Thanks again!)Our dogchild was well groomed, and smelled fresh when we brought her home. Thanks again Barking Lot!
We have taken our dog there a number of times, and have never had any problems. Everyone is very nice and cooperative.
This place seemed really nice when I dropped off my dog, I felt my precious little girl was in good hands.While I was dropping her off and explaining what I wanted done for her hair cut, I asked if they plucked ear hair, & cleaned the ears, she said, Yes, that’s included in the groom.When I picked her up, everything seemed great, I didn’t check her ears, I thought my saying something would make it a priority. I get her home, & checked her ears, low and behold, not cleaned or plucked.Then upon further inspection, she has a chuck missing from her face.I call the place, tell them what is going on, & she was like well you can bring her back in so we can fix her ears, & there was a mat in her face where the chuck is missing, it was hurting her brushing it out. I comb my dog at least every other day, & I know that there was not a mat large enough to make her face that uneven (if there even was one), & they didn’t tell me when I picked her up. The owner really didn’t seem to care that I was u
