If you want to get ripped off,this is the place for you. I called to make an appt. for an eye exam. Told the person I have new coverage & gave her all the info. At no time did she say they don't accept my coverage at this location only. I arrive & I get charged double the co-pay. Why, because not only did they not take my plan, also last year I had a test done for chronic dry eye, they billed my visit as medical, which falls under specialist. I told the girl, I've never been treated for that, I only had the test. Oh well, that's what's in the system, that's what I have to charge you. All the while, not telling me they don't take my plan. Then I go to p/u my prescription after the exam & the girl was so busy texting, she didn't see me standing there until someone else spoke to her & woke her from her daze. I go over to put in my prescription order & get told I would have to pay full price because I don't have coverage for glasses. What? I do have coverage for glasses. So after much back & forth w/the zippy at the front desk who 1st waited on me, it came to light that even though I told the person who made the appt. about my new coverage, she wouldn't know that I had a certain plan that they don't take because she's in a call center. Yet seconds later contradicted herself by saying had I told that person I had the specific plan, she would have told me they don't take it. WTF?
